My Quick Verdict

Forty-five watts is the lowest charging input we have recorded on any unit at any capacity. Filling the 296Wh pack takes around six and a half hours.

To put that in context, our charging data indicate a median of 62 watts for this capacity class, which is already slow. The PA300 is well below even that.

What the unit gets right, it gets properly right. Eighty-five percent conversion, correct 120 volt pure sine output under 2% distortion, 1.6% idle drain, and 45 decibels are all sound results.

An integrated LED light bar with SOS modes is a sensible touch for an emergency or camping unit.

Best for: Emergency kits charged once and stored, where recharge speed genuinely never matters.

Not for: Anyone who needs the unit back quickly, or who charges from solar.
