Judged as a power station, this scores poorly, and it is worth being clear about why: it is not really a power station.
The DXAEPS2 is a vehicle jump starter with 2,800 peak amps and a 120 PSI tyre compressor, topped off with a 1,000-watt inverter. The battery is a 22-amp-hour lead-acid unit.
Conversion is 67%, the second weakest in our database. Of the 264 watt-hours rated, only 177 reach the outlets.
The inverter output is modified sine at over 30% distortion, and the fans exceed 65 decibels. Neither is suitable for electronics or for any enclosed space.
Best for: Vehicle recovery and tyre inflation, where the inverter is an occasional bonus rather than the point.
Not for: Any electronics, any sustained AC load, or anyone shopping for a power station.
