Jackery Explorer 300 Review

Add to compare

The Jackery Explorer 300 returns 252Wh of its 293Wh rated capacity, an 86% result, behind a 300W inverter. Dual AC and USB-C charging fills it in about two hours, on NMC cells rated at 500 cycles. Mid-range price tier.

My Quick Verdict

The Explorer 300 does one thing its siblings do not: it charges from two sources at once. 90 watts through the AC brick, plus 60 watts over USB-C, fill the pack in about two hours.

For a unit this size that is genuinely quick, it is the clearest reason to choose the 300 over the 240 beneath it.

86% conversion returns 252Wh, output is clean, pure sine at 1.8% distortion, and 44 decibels keep it tent-friendly.

The chemistry is the same nickel manganese cobalt at 500 cycles, which produces $0.56 per charge, and is the figure that holds the whole Explorer line back.

Best for: Weekend campers who need a quick turnaround between trips and value a familiar brand.

Not for: Regular cycling, backup duty, or anyone comparing the cost of ownership.
