Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 Review

Add to compare

The Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 returns 901Wh of its 1,024Wh rated capacity, an 88% result, behind a 2,000W inverter. It transfers in under 10ms with a self-arming inverter and carries dual 140W USB-C ports. High-end price tier, exceptional capability for the money.

My Quick Verdict

This is the highest-scoring unit of everything added this month, and it earns that on the two specifications that separate a backup supply from a large battery.

It hands over in under 10 milliseconds and arms its own inverter. A power cut at three in the morning is caught with nobody awake, which is what the phrase home backup is supposed to mean and what most units at this price cannot do.

Around that sit 88% conversion, 4,000 cycle cells, 2,000 watts continuous from a 1,024Wh pack, and dual 140W USB-C ports. 600 watts of solar power fills it in 1.8 hours.

Anker removed the expansion port, making it 14% smaller and 11% lighter than the original. That is the one thing you give up, and whether it matters depends entirely on whether you would ever have added a battery.

Best for: Home backup that must react unattended, and anyone charging laptops and camera gear who wants full-rate USB-C.

Not for: Anyone who expects to expand capacity later or who needs more than 1,024 Wh from a single unit.
