My Quick Verdict

This unit does the hardest thing in the category properly. It hands over in under 10 milliseconds and arms its own inverter, which means it catches a power cut with nobody in the house.

Fewer than a third of the units we have tested can self-arm at all. Pairing that with a sub-10ms transfer puts the HomePower ONE PRO in a genuinely small company, and it is the reason this scores highest of the five units added this month.

Then there is the conversion figure. 77% is well below our 85% threshold, meaning 278 Wh of the rated pack never reaches the outlets. You are buying 1,210 Wh and using 932 Wh.
