My Quick Verdict

At 9.9 pounds, this is the lightest unit in our database, and the solid-state cells are the reason. That weight, with 4,000 rated cycles and near-silent operation, is a genuinely unusual package.

The idle drain undoes much of it. Seven watts of inverter overhead sounds small, but against a 241Wh pack, it works out at 2.9% per hour, which is the only figure of these five units to fail our 2% threshold.

Leave it switched on and doing nothing, and it empties itself in about 34 hours. That is a small-capacity problem rather than a poor inverter, but the effect on the owner is the same.

An 86% conversion rate returns 207Wh of the 241Wh rating, and the five-year warranty is among the best in our data. At $1.24 per watt-hour, it is also the most expensive energy on the site.

Best for: Backpack and travel use, where weight is the deciding factor, and the unit is switched off between uses.
