The Nexpow YP-150W returns 141Wh of its 178Wh rated capacity, a 79% result, behind a 120W modified sine inverter with 45W USB-C. Budget price tier.
My Quick Verdict
The Nexpow scores marginally above the other cheap modified sine units, and two things account for that.
It offers 45 watts of USB-C, which charges a tablet properly and keeps a laptop alive slowly. More importantly, charging over USB-C bypasses the modified sine inverter entirely, which is the single best thing you can do with a unit in this tier.
There is also a direct US phone line, which is rare at its price point, where most competitors offer email and hope.
79% conversion returns 141 Wh of the 178 rated, and idle drain is 2.4% per hour. Neither is good, but both beat the smallest units in this group.
Best for: Basic device charging on short trips, where the USB-C port does most of the work.
Not for: Anything with sensitive electronics on the AC socket, or anything left charged for long.
